YOU are Powerful beyond Measure

Maybe I can demonstrate what I mean through a poem written by Marianne Williamson. For me these words are extremely powerful and inspiring.

It goes like this:

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves WHO AM I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be!
Our playing small does not save the world.

There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.

You are born to make manifest to the glory of God that is within us;
It is not just in some of us; it is in every one.

And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other’s permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fears,
our presence automatically liberates others.”

These are inspiring words, aren’t they? Let them inspire you to really go all out and reach whatever it is that you dream of. Why? Because you deserve to reach it, you deserve to live your dreams! This is what we are here for. We have just "forgotten" it while life came in the way.
During the course of our life, we seem to forget all the big dreams we had when we were young and believed we could do anything. The question is why does life get in the way? Why do so many of us arrive at a stage where there seem to be more obligations than motivations?

The main reason is that most of us have let ourselves be “programmed” for mediocrity. We have not been told or taught that we can be powerful beyond measure. Since early childhood we are conditioned to swim with the swarm, to stay in the crab basket we call humanity and there will always be enough people around us who will remind us of it – but in spite of all this, we have a choice at any one moment of our life.

We really can do what we are here to do – if only we do!

And exactly here is our next challenge. To dare something new we must move out of our comfort zone and believe me, that is not easy. We feel comfortable in what we know, we feel safe and secure even if we are in a miserable situation because the devil we know… I am sure you know the proverb. But if we continue to do...

Einstein put this very nicely: “The definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results.”

To help you move out of your comfort zone visualize what it would be like when you have reached your big dream. Open your boundaries and dream in 3D. Visualize in every little detail, with all 5 senses what life could be like when you are actually there. Close your eyes and daydream and only when you can “see” yourself in your perfect day and have a wide grin on your face and a nice, warm feeling inside, open your eyes and write it all down. Every little bit of it. Where you are, what you feel, who is around you, what you do, is it warm or cold, are you in a city or in the country, is it a special day of celebration...

Make it a very vivid Vision of your perfect day. Imagination is the root of everything we do and by far the most powerful tool to succeed. Unless you can imagine yourself being happier, richer, thinner, fitter, or whatever it is you want to achieve, the chances of you ever getting there are slim.

Your brain needs to 'see' the results of your actions before it will allow you to apply your time and effort on striving for them. But unfortunately, although we are all blessed with imaginative powers as children, those powers very often fade as we enter adulthood. Remember the 95 % confidence we have as children and only 5 % as adolescents.

Regaining your ability to imagine, to picture something in your mind so completely that all your senses can experience it, IS possible. It just takes a little bit of practice. The more detailed your written “vision” is the more it will draw you towards actually getting there. Mine gets longer and longer and I feel great when I read it – which you should do frequently.

Jim Rohn says: “If the why is strong enough, the how becomes easy.” It is up to you to create your WHY. Get yourself into the feeling. This is the strongest technique to create belief in yourself!!! My clients say it is like giving birth and it really is incredibly motivating.

Honestly look into the amount of time you give to your dreams every day? For most of us it is NONE so how can we expect to ever make them come true?

It is only when your vision is clear that you should ask yourself: What do I have to do to get there? Always start with the end result in mind! That is what most of us do wrong. We start walking before we know exactly where we want to go to. In consequence, it is no surprise that we stray off and get discouraged.

Work with the secrets of those who have done the “impossible”. Change your programming from “What if I fail?" to "What if I succeed? Then what?" Would that scare you? It shouldn’t! You are the Best in whatever field you are passionately involved in. But first you must know exactly what you want. Your vision has to be crystal clear to you.

Sorry, if I get carried away but I really want you to get this.

Dr. Schuler, Edison, Mandela, Trump and a lot of other extremely successful people all have these 3 things in common.

The first key is that they know exactly what they want and start with the end in mind.
The second key is BELIEF. People who do the impossible believe they can do it and eventually, they do!
And the third: They act in spite of their fears; in spite of their doubts and in spite of what their family and friends might tell them.

Always remember: These are your dreams, not theirs. This is your life, not theirs!

Dare to go further, dare to create new experiences, implant greater ideas. Act in spite of your fears and doubts – again and again. Move on even if you feel uncomfortable. It is in those moments that you grow.

I wish you to be ALL YOU CAN BE and that is anything you want to be!

Make 2018 your year to make your dreams come true!

Turn your Dreams into Reality

Do you still have dreams for your life?

If yes, do you want to make them come true?

If you do, start by writing your life dreams down – the clearer the better and please don’t judge on the possibility or probability, just write whatever comes to your mind. Remember, what the human mind can conceive it can achieve!

Let me use Dr. Robert Schuler as an example. He dreamt of a Crystal Cathedral in Anaheim, California which is an earthquake area. In the 80th he invited a famous architect to plan the Cathedral for him. The architect said that it would be very difficult to build such a large glass structure in this area and if at all possible, would cost an incredible amount of money. “Do you have that type of money”, he asked Dr. Schuler. “No” was the answer. “Well, then it is absolutely impossible” the architect retorted. Dr. Schuler took him to his study and showed him his dictionary. The word impossible was cut out, as it was in all his literature. For him impossible did not exist and a few years later the Crystal Cathedral was built and his ‘Hour of Power’ was broadcast from there to the world every Sunday (http://www.crystalcathedral.org/).

Be outrageous! Think big! You can do it – if you really want to.

We have so much unused potential that needs to get out but in many cases does not "dare" to because it would take us out of our comfort zone. What if...? is the question we need to ask ourselves sometimes. "What is the worse thing that could happen to me?" is a question I ask myself when I am afraid to take the next step and I always find the answer is not as scary as not moving forward would be. D

are to take that next step and dare to do it NOW! If you need support get yourself a a good coach. If it works for our top athletes, if it works for a CEO of a Fortune 500 company, it will work for you too.

Happy growing,

Gender Characteristics?

For years we are bombarded with books, films and heated discussions on the differences between man and women. It was even suggested we come from different planets altogether "Man are from Mars, Women are from Venus". And sometimes watching the behavior of the species makes one wonder -.)

Research shows that the differences between men and women have a lot to do with the way we are brought up. I watched a program on German TV last night on brain research and development. They reminded us of the way babies are treated and how that influences our whole life.

They made a study on how parents, grandparents, nurses, and society as a whole treat babies. The result was that baby girls are cuddled, caressed, and mainly looked at from the attraction point of view while baby boys are looked at from the perspective of potential strength "what a big boy", "how strong he is" etc.

Because we are looked at and treated that way from the very first days of our life, it obviously influences the development of our beliefs and values which in turn govern our life.

Interesting perspective, isn't it? My father always wanted a boy and he treated me as such. I wonder if that is why I have become so fiercely independent?

Hmm, let me mull that over...

PS: The study showed also that that our thought pattern and our behavior is not so different when fed with the same information.

Attitude of Gratitude

In the USA Thanksgiving is the most important family holiday. It is also a day on which many celebrities share food with those less fortunate than they are.

Giving thanks to what you have in your life is one of the easiest ways to find happiness. One of the first things I ask my coaching clients to do is to keep a gratitude journal. Each day they have to write at least 3 things they are grateful for. The more the better.

Why do I ask them to do that? Because I want them to start feeling good about themselves and their lives. I want them to appreciate what they already have so the gap between that and their goals seems smaller.

For most people it seems easier to find things to complain about than to find things to give thanks for. But it is exactly that which keeps them from happiness and fulfillment. What we concentrate on is what we get. When we complain and concentrate on what doesn’t work, we enforce exactly that. That is why when people have financial challenges and don’t stop to concentrate on their lack of money, things get worse and worse. Whatever they try, they don’t seem to get out of that situation and even when they make money they loose it again.

What you focus on expands. When you focus on lack, lack is what you get. When you focus on abundance, abundance will come into your life. Start giving even if you have little and give without expecting anything back. If you give and expect gratitude it will not work.

Our subconscious does everything to fulfill our wishes but it cannot understand a negation. If you say “I don’t want to smoke” it understands “I want to smoke” and helps you with that. If you think “I don’t want to have financial problems” etc. it understands only the basic which are financial problems. Therefore it is omni-important to focus only on what you want and never on what you don’t want.

As I said in the beginning giving thanks, feeling grateful is the easiest way to feeling happy. Look at what you already have in your life and say thanks for that – each and every day. Be grateful when the sun shines and when rain gives water to the land so our food can grow. Give thanks for having a roof over your head, for the food you eat, for having family and friends in your life, and for your health and whatever wealth you have accumulated so far. Give thanks for being alive and kicking. For the flower you see grow out of the cracks of the asphalt, for a beautiful sunset, or the perfect snowflake that lands on your nose.

There are thousands of moments and things in every day of our lives that we can and should be grateful for. Start writing them down in your gratitude journal every night before you go to sleep and again in the morning before you start your day. Do that for 21 days and your life will change. That is a promise.

Happy Changes!

Take the next step

The other day I was talking to my friend John who is a very successful NLP trainer and coach. I asked him if he had any words of wisdom for my readers about overcoming fear and taking action.

He reminded me that inaction is a symptom of fear. Predominantly a fear of failure. He said that often times we are not clear in our desires to succeed. That is, deep down we can't believe that we can be successful and therefore we take no action.

How do we get rid of this fear I asked John eagerly. Isn't it what stops most of us moving towards our dreams?

"Look inward", he said "Find in yourself those limiting beliefs that are causing you doubt. In doing this know that you are a unique and special person with knowledge, traits and perspective that ONLY you have and as soon as you believe in yourself and use your unique skills you will succeed."

As long as you are afraid to take the next step in pursuit of your dreams you are inactive. Things go stale and you move away from what you want so take a careful self assesment and add up all the things that make you unique and understand that it is exactly this uniqueness that will help you reach your goals.

Dare and jump

To your unlimited success

How to stop Negativity

"How do I stop my negative thoughts?" is a question that I have been asked many times and that I had asked myself for many years. The answer is really quite simple. You stop negative thoughts by planting positive thoughts!

We all have unsolved issues in our lives we need to take care of. When we think about them negative, disempowering thoughts, worry, and frustration enters our head. We are focusing on what we don't want - negative thoughts - and therefore will attract more of them. They can never disappear if you focus on them like this.

You see to "stop" the negative thoughts is not relevant because if you try to do that you still focus on the negative thought. Even when you try to control them or to push them away, the result is the same. Your focus is on negative thoughts, and by the law of attraction you are inviting more negativity to you.

The truth is always simple and it is always easy. To stop negative thoughts, just plant good thoughts! You deliberately plant good thoughts by making it a daily practice to appreciate all the things in your day. Appreciate your health, your family, your friends, your home, your work, your food, your pets, the sunshine or the rain, the beauty around you, and the wonder of life iself. Compliment, praise, and give thanks to all things and beings. Every time you say "Thank you" it is a good thought! As you plant more and more good thoughts, the negative thoughts will go away because your focus is now on the good and what you focus on is what you will get.

In the first few months of coaching my clients are asked to email me at least 5 things they are grateful for each day and they do it last thing in the evening because I want them to go to sleep with these positive thoughts on their mind. Every single one of us that reads this has plenty to be grateful for so if you want to stop negative thoughts think positive ones and say thanks for all the good in you and around you. Do not give your attention to negative thoughts. Don't worry about them. If any come shrug them off, and let them be your reminder to deliberately think more positive thoughts.

ACTION: Start the day by saying Thanks and end the day by saying Thanks. Thanks for your home, the bed you sleep in, for the water you use to drink, to shower and to make tee or coffee with, for your food, your clothes, for the sunshine or the rain outside, for your car, your job, your health, your family and friends... I think you get the trend. We all have plenty to be grateful for. If you start doing this on a continuous basis you will automatically push those negative thoughts away and dwell on the positive; on what you appreciate in life and as you do that, more and more of what you appreciate will appear.

The more positive thoughts you can plant in a day, the faster your life will be utterly transformed into all good, into abundant and happy. If you spend only one day speaking of good things and saying "Thank you" at every single opportunity, you will not believe your tomorrow. Deliberately thinking good thoughts is exactly like planting seeds. As you think good thoughts you are planting good seeds inside you, and the Universe will transform those seeds into your personal paradise; into your 'perfect' life!

Live happy!
